This Blood Draw provides information needed to accurately determine your individualized plan of care and If you are a good candidate for HRT.

Women’s Panel

  • Complete Metabolic Panel with differential (CBC w/Diff)- this panel provides information about your production of all blood cells and identifies your oxygen-carrying capacity through the evaluation of red blood cell (RBC) indices, hemoglobin, and hematocrit.
  • Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)-this panel provides information us more about your body’s fluid balance, levels of electrolytes like sodium and potassium, and how well your kidneys and liver are working.
  • Lipid Panel-Measures your levels of cholesterol, triglycerides, and other fats in your blood.
  • Estradiol (E2)- Levels are checked to assess for incontinence of urine, fatigue, depression, mood swings, insomnia and decreased libido secondary to vaginal dryness.
  • Progesterone- Low levels can be indicative of poly cystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) , Cyclic migraines, post partum depression, and PMS. Progesterone is beneficial for pre, peri and post menopausal women. Higher levels are protective against breast cancer, coronary artery disease, and cardiovascular disease.
  • Testosterone panel-  This panel can identify the reason you’re missing periods, not having periods, having a hard time getting pregnant, experiencing male patterns of hair growth/ baldness. It can also assist us with diagnose polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which causes elevated testosterone. Cystic acne can also be caused by high testosterone levels. Low levels of testosterone can contribute to decreased libido and sexual dysfunction.
  • Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) level -Is drawn to to help evaluate for menopause, or assist with diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome, and abnormal vaginal or menstrual bleeding. Normal levels manage the menstrual cycle and stimulates the ovaries to produce eggs. FSH plays a significant role in sexual development and reproduction.
  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH) level- determine any cause of infertility. LH spurs ovulation and helps with the hormone production needed to support pregnancy. These levels are also checked if you are having fertility issues or irregular menstrual periods.
  • Thyroid panel (TSH, T3, and T4)-The thyroid panel is drawn and tested for multiple elements related to your thyroid function and adrenals. Your thyroid regulates temperature, metabolism, cerebral function, energy levels. Elevated thyroid levels can lead to weight gain.
  • Vitamin B12 level- We want to be sure your vitamin B12 is where it needs to be, B 12 is important for nerve health, cell and tissue repair, and red blood cell production.
  • Vitamin D level-Low levels of vitamin D have been linked to an increased risk for: Osteoporosis, Depression, and Fatigue.
  • Cortisol levels-Elevated cortisol levels can cause, rapid weight gain, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, muscle weakness, mood swings, anxiety, depression, and/or irritability.

2. Post Lab Draw results review with Hormone Consult $ 125

Your lab results will be discussed with you in detail during your visit, as well as what form of Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment would work best for you. Medication administration options for treatment will be provided. You may choose at this time if you desire to start treatment . Forms of treatment are available in oral pills, pellets placed under the skin, injections and/or creams.
